Women's Policy in Victoria
The Office of Women’s Policy is responsible for coordinating Victorian whole-of-government policies for women.
The work of the Office of Women’s Policy is influenced by the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) and based on the priorities stated in the Women’s Policy Framework 2008-11 (PDF 1196 kb) or (Word 492 kb).
The priorities of the Office of Women’s Policy are:
- Justice and safety
- Representation and equity
- Education, work and economic independence
- Health, wellbeing and community strengthening
