Victorian Women Vote heritage tram
Take a ride on the Victorian Women Vote city circle tram.
Travel on the tram is free and takes passengers along the city circle, travelling along Spring Street, Flinders Street, Harbour Esplanade at Docklands and Latrobe Street.
The 10 W class trams that run along the city circle circuit were built between 1936 and 1955 at the Preston workshops.

Parliament House Lights Up for Victorian Women Vote 1908 – 2008
The lights were shining violet, green and white at Parliament House to commemorate one of the most significant days in Victoria’s democratic history – 18 November, the centenary of most Victorian women gaining the right to vote. Parliament House was lit in the traditional colours of violet, green and white from Tuesday 18 November to Monday 24 November.
