The Office of Women’s Policy develops and informs Victorian Government policies and programs that impact women and their families with the aim of improving their quality of life. In 2008, calico banners displaying the Victorian Women Vote 1908-2008 logo will travel to metropolitan, rural and regional areas in Victoria. All Victorians will be invited to sign these as a way of marking the Centenary.

100 years of Victorian Women’s Vote
The Monster Petition
Our aim is to collect 30,000 signatures in acknowledgment of the achievement of the original Monster Petition and as a commitment to pursuing equality for women in all aspects of Victorian life. These banners will be sewn together at the end of the year and displayed at the November Finale and Parliament House Open Day. Learn more about the Monster Petition.
Victorian Honour Roll of Women
The Victorian Honour Roll of Women recognises and celebrates the achievements of women from all walks of life who have made a significant contribution in their particular field and who have empowered other women. Learn more about the Victorian Women’s Honour Roll.
International Women’s Day

Women’s Financial Literacy Project
The Victorian Government is developing a financial literacy training program specifically for women, to help them become more financially secure, increase their earnings and plan for a more comfortable retirement. Find out more Women’s Financial Literacy Project.
