The Victorian Government has developed a range of events and initiatives throughout Victoria to mark the milestone and to celebrate the contribution of all women to our civic and political life. Some of these activities include:
- A regional launch of 51 successful Grant recipients (PDF 166kb) (Word 169kb) on 8 February
- The launch of Victorian Women Vote 1908-2008 (PDF 664kb) at Federation Square on 19 February
- Curriculum materials for all primary and lower secondary students – our leaders of tomorrow
- Victorian Women Vote heritage tram
- The installation of a significant new public art work in central Melbourne that immortalises the 1891 Monster petition
- A finale event for all Victorians including the Parliament House Open Day in November
